The power of wins

There is nothing more powerful then a win.

Sometimes I find that it’s not always easy to celebrate or relish in the wins. But the more I make the time, the further I go in life. The first time I ran 1 mile (after not running in a long time), with no stops, I took 5 minutes to relish in the win. Granted I need to catch my breath but I took the win. The next time I ran, I ran harder and went further.

David Goggins has a term the “cookie jar”. Where you remember all these wins. You can write them down and look back at them at a later date when you need that power.

When things get hard, pull that win out from your head and use that power of the win.
